As a Westminster native, I played my first round at this course. The gold course has always been one of my favorite places to play, but things have changed lately. The people in the pro shop are very rude and argumentative. I made a tee time with Lexa yesterday and she could care less about customer service. After having her argue with me over their Wednesday special pricing while insisting that I was wrong and didnt know what I was talking about, I asked her to cancel my reservations. Her reaction was simply "whatever" and that I could go play somewhere else. This is just the latest example of how they no longer care about the local community. Ill miss you Hyland Hills

Local management is abysmal. I wouldnt go here if you need special accommodations, like another cart so you can leave early to get your kids, if you are handicapped, or any other reason. They stick to policy and that is that. Like big government? It exists here on the golf course. Too bad too, nice track in great condition, just really poor customer service and management. Spend your same money at great tracks close like Legacy Ridge, Heritage at Westmoor, Broadlands, and Westwoods.

Played Hyland Hills Gold last week (mid-October) and found it enjoyable. Yes, the staff are a little odd and the frost and thunderstorms delayed play for an hour (nobodys fault) but the course was challenging and entertaining. Reasonable maintenance particularly given the price (much cheaper than the Boulder courses) but the Gold course definitely goes on the rotation for me. An aside - the breakfast portions are humungus and the staff in the restaurant very friendly.

Hyland Hills has four total courses: a full 18-hole championship course, a standard length 9 hole course, one par-3 course with up to 180 yard holes, and another par-3 course that is basically chip and putt. The Gold course can be challenging, with thick rough and a winding layout. The Blue course is enjoyable, due its quick nature of play and mix of makeable shots and tree lined fairways. Its location right off Rt 36 makes it easy to get to.

This is a review of the North Par 3 course, which is the only one we have played. I have taken my young children (9/7) here several times for their first experiences on a "real" golf course and it has been great! It has never been busy- even on a Saturday. Very short course- perfect for newbies, although my wife and I enjoyed playing it as well. Well maintained and not too expensive. We drive 60 minutes to get here and it is worth it.

The starter was so rude and aweful. Lots of ground under repair. Dead fish everywhere (even a dead turtle). Gravel on greens extremely uneven. The kicker though had to be that starter. Golf is a gentlemens game, and that guy sure wasnt acting like one at all. We will never be going back to Hyland Hills again.

I played Hyland Hills in 2011. It was an enjoyable golf experience on a pretty well kept public course. Based solely on Andrew Kraeffts inability to write, I will assume that he also doesnt know how to rate a golf experience. Therefore, I shall re-visit Hyland Hills this coming Saturday to see for myself.

Course has been in good condition each time I played. Friendly staff, nice clubhouse area, good practice facility. Only problem is how they book tee times. They book singles between groups of 3 and 2 instead of grouping them together. Makes for a long wait when groups of 4 income of them.

I enjoy playing here. It is a nice facility and there is usually a tee time available for one of the three courses. My favorite is the gold course, there are a lot of really nice looking holes. I play here more than any other place in Denver.

Great municipal course with lots of options for all skill levels and budgets. 2 par 3 nines an executive 9 and a well maintained layout on the championship 18 holes gold course. Nice specials on golf, the range and a fabulous clubhouse.

Dollar for dollar, this is one of the best value in golf in the metro area. Reasonable greens fees, friendly staff, easily walkable course, consistently good turf condition and cheap buckets of balls at the driving range.

Love this course, great value, especially 9 holes after work. Wished they didnt turn on the sprinklers quite as early, and the Volcano blasts from the nearby mini-golf course are a bit much. Fun layout, good location.

Honestly, the prices here are hard to beat. This isnt a snooty country club nor is it a stop on the PGA tour. But it is a great course thats getting better each season with the continuous upgrading of the facilities.

Great options here, short par 3, tricky part 3, regulation 9, regulation 18, even 27 holes of miniature golf. You can always find something to play here. The staff is low key. Average golfers can feel welcome.

Horrible. The people who come here are rude. Ive been hit into and insulted by the guys in front of me. I almost got into a fight. Ill never come here again. Oh, and its not worth the price AT ALL

Great golf course for the money! For all those who feel like the customer service was bad, just concentrate on the well maintained course for the cheap price and play golf!

Gold course has some nice challenges. Challenge was to avoid course sprinklers on holes 5-9 unfortunately during afternoon play
