Visited for a high school graduation ceremony. They would not let people in to get seating until the last minute, the crowd congregating to get in kept pushing from the rear so those towards the front of the lines were forced to be in very close quarters. Exiting after the event was through one door and a small hallway that moved very slowly. There was plenty of room outside but people tended to congregate in the entry way keeping people from getting out of the building. Very poor flow and comfort for attendees to get in and then get out.of the event.

Went to see Drums of the World performance. What a great time. Not only was it entertaining for adults, but every child there was having a great time. The stage also moves up and down during the performance which was also very cool, spotlighting different percussion instruments and different performance pieces! Very gorgeous theatre, and the staff who were running the show and audience were not only funny, but fantastic at keeping the order in a very large crowd. Will definitely be coming here again for more live performances!

My son performed here for a few years in a childrens choir. It is showing its age. The seats a little unusual with the high wooden backs to prevent the acoustics from changing with different audience sizes. There is usually plenty of room to walk around before the show and during intermission with some wine bars. Be careful of the seats your choose. The seats are not in a uniform arrangement. Depending on the show, some seats can definitely be in blind spots, or with serious limited view, especially in mezzanine levels.

This venue might very well be demolished. The only reason given is that we would prefer an open-air venue. Orchestras, as opposed to wind ensembles, cannot perform outdoors. What are the words for this travesty? The final irony is that Brian Priestman, a former conductor who commissioned it, expressed to the architects a desire to replicate sitting outdoors in the hall. Priestman is about to get his wish in the most asinine way possible.

Just dont sit in the upper most ring (poor sound quality for individual singers when they are at the front of the stage). The upper most ring has only single chairs for seating, and you have to really lean over the wood railing to see much of the stage during the performance (take your binoculars or opera glasses if you sit up there). You also have to contend with sitting next to posts containing some of the fixed spot lights.

The Colorado Symphony musicians are professional and yet laid back and fun. They like to perform pop culture pieces such as movie suites and video game soundtracks. If you want more classical pieces they offer those shows as well. On the pop culture nights, the Symphony members will dress up in costumes and make puns to the audience. Its nice to have such incredible musicians not take themselves too seriously.

Ive only been to one performance here but Ive been to concerts in lots of venues around the country. I would say this ranks high among the other concert halls. Seating is a little odd because there are lots of levels and tiers. The raised sections just to either side of the stage give you a great view of the performers. Sometimes the attendance can be low which negatively affect the acoustics.

Great small concert hall, really brings you in to the experience of watching a concert. There are no downsides that I could find, as the shows are memorable, its location is fantastic, and there is a light rail station that is moderately easy to access. All of this makes this one of Colorados best concert venues

This review should actually be for the Colorado Symphony in tandem with the Boettcher. The Colorado Symphony puts on AMAZING shows by themselves, in conjunction with other classical and modern artists, and for special events. Bonus tip: If youre a student, check their website for tickets as low as $10!

Wonderful venue, I love the concert hall. We saw a fantastic show, the Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses, reasonably priced, especially for the front row seats we had, and well worth every penny! Having not been in a while, the entrance took a minute to find, though.

I performed here for three years performing with the Douglas County Continental League Band, and this venue is truly a top notch venue, and has some of the best acoustics of any place Ive performed at for concerts. This is a place that is a must go for any type of concert!

Saw Gregory Allen Isakov and it was one of purest musical events I have been to. The hall itself was very accommodating and personal with a nice variety of snacks and drinks. The cheese plate was better than a lot of restaurants that I have been to

The venue was really nice and we were able to easily see the people on stage from the mezzanine. The hall is also located right next to a light rail station with plenty of places to walk to for dining and drinking.

Right in the heart of downtown, the theater, symphony and opera are right at your fingertips. Enjoy a cocktail and dinner before or after the show at any number of wonder restaurants and bars!

Really awesome! Got to see some popular local bands and wonder bound perform alongside the Denver symphony. The tickets were ridiculously low priced for the phenomenal experience we had.

Whether youve been planning to see a concert or other show here or its a last minute call, theyve got a ton of great events. They make it easy to justify a trip downtown on weekend nights.

They really bring in top notch musical plays. The Lion King was utterly fantastic. You really cant go wrong with anything they play here. My wife and I typically hold season tickets.

Its about the music and does not have a "stuck up" or formal vibe. Avoid seats on the left side of the house (stage right) as the mezzanine overlaps the orchestra seating.

For Casa Blanca I wanted to watch the movie and the orchestra but found that I couldnt watch both. From now on Ill come only to watch the orchestra with no movie playing.

Great place, but the side upper level sits cannot see the whole stages and no programming and explanation for is that show break or ending.

This is a nice place to watch the Colorado symphony orchestra. Be sure to get there a few minutes early or else they might not seat you

The best classical music concerts in Colorado! $10 tickets for students, otherwise tickets are too expensive. I love Colorado Symphony!

Overall not a bad concert hall however I dock it 2 stars for the VERY uncomfortable seats, my back was hurting during the performance.
