We went there today, a Saturday, for the first time. We are from out of town, but our local museum is part of the ASTC, so we were able to use our membership to get in for free. Good thing too, because I would have been very disappointed if I had paid! At first, it seems like an awesome place and the kids were excited, but after about 30 minutes, we had seen and done everything we could and were getting bored. We held out, however, because we were waiting for the Mars Rover are to reopen. We were there a little before 12:30 and the workers said that they were closing to recharge the rovers and have a lunch break. Well, I think they must have had no intention of reopening because by 2:30 when we finally gave up, they still had not reopened the area. I would rather have been told the truth than waste my time hanging out waiting. Bottom line - if you have a membership to another ASTC museum, its wroth a quick trip, but I would not spend the money to go otherwise.

Bottom line, if you dont go with a school group or on a Saturday, its not worth going. If you arent going with a group, its not very fun. The Mars exhibit is only open on Saturday. Unless your with a group Im sure. We got there during the tail end of a school group. We got to see what they were doing and it looked fun.... But we couldnt participate... We did get lucky and one of the volunteers that were going to leave, stayed and showed us the planet sphere. That was cool. The place is small, the isnt a lot to do, but the people there (when they are there) have some interesting information. If you go, go with a scheduled group.

This was a great stop for the family. Plenty to see and do with our 9 and 2 year old. There are more activities available on Saturdays than during the week. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. This will be a regular stop for our family when were in town. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there are definitely 5 star space museums out there and this one is just shy of that. But they are well on their way. There was construction going on in the rear for some expansion, so were looking forward to seeing what they do.

Brought my son here to check out the exhibits and was disappointed. First $10 a person for a tiny exhibit is not worth it. I would have been happy to pay 3-5 bucks for this. There is a minimal amount of exhibits there. The childrens museum exhibit helped us pass a little more time and was really the only thing there geared towards children. Its definitely not worth the price tag

Seriously disappointed... I came here last year for my daughters spring break and had so much fun. I remember all the activites we did and spend at least two hours here. But this year it seams like they ran out of budget. All the fun activities we remember doing are gone. There is nothing to do. And its spring break! Got bored after 10 minutes and it cost $27...

We came here for the first time today and I have to say Im disappointed. If it was free, then it would be worth it, but not $10 for an adult to supervise their children. The center really needs to adjust/revamp the interactive exhibit area, because half of the exhibits dont work correctly. They also need more things to do, as my child got bored pretty quickly.

Great place! My little ones loved the super kids traveling exhibit and could have stayed all day. My older children were fascinated by the information and interactive exhibits. They loved the scavenger hunt as well. The open floor plan made it easy to keep an eye on everyone. The straw rockets blast off was a favorite for everyone!

All these people on here who are reviewing this place are not being honest. This place is more like a hippie muesum and less about space. Honestly do not waste your time coming here with your children. I am literally sitting at a kitchen table playing kitchen with my son at a muesum dedicated to space. Dissapointing.

Very small and definitely geared more towards kids. My boyfriend stopped here to kill some time on a road trip. We had a great time though and the guide was knowledgeable and had some great stories! We saw the whole place in less than an hour, but they do have some neat little exhibits. Worth a peek.

Would be worth half of the admission fee if they had their exhibits actually working and not "under construction" or if they invested $50 to fix the hands on stuff for the kids to use. Its all broken or hardly servicable. Way overpriced for the 10 minutes of entertainment that was provided.

I have small kids and they really had fun. But it would make more sense to turn the childrens farmers market into interactive rocket ship replicas with periscopes and dials to incite the kids imagination of space. The thrift stores dont really match the museum.

We went to the Math Alive exhibit. Its smaller than I expected but has some fun things. Its interactive and free for military families right now so that made it great. However, if we were not military I dont think it would be worth the regular admission price.

The Space Foundation Discovery Center is a great place to learn about outer space and science. Great exhibits and fun interactivity with Science on a Sphere. Great for field trips or just a fun afternoon.

This place is amazing! Its interactive, its informative, and the lectures they put on were unique and well spoken. This place is great to go to by yourself, on a date, or with your kids.

Fun exposure to space, but very limited exhibits. Admission price is too high considering this is a non-profit organization and there is not an abundance of things to see and do.

10 bucks a person. Definitely not worth the price. For something dedicated to something so vast, you would expect it to be a lot bigger. Unfortunately not. Disappointed.

Great collection of space equipment/memorabilia. We couldnt take enough time see everything. :( I especially enjoyed the old space suits & the food technology display!

This place has a heavy focus on children which kind of bummed me out. However they do provide some decent knowledge on space.

One of the top space spots in the country, next to Nasa. If you love space, you NEED to visit the Space Foundation!

Not much to do. Kids got bored after 10 minutes. $10 for an adult to supervise their kids is definitely high.
